We are a team of 3 qualified tradesmen & 1 apprentice. We have for the past 30+ years been consistently building high quality, unique homes, extensions and renovations/alterations. We set very high standards in all we do and expect the same from those associated with us. We are proud of who we are and of the homes we produce. We are proud that much of our work is obtained by word of mouth.
We are not mass market builders. We prefer to specialise in unique 'one-off' new homes, extensions and renovations.
Kevin Neil is the Director of this company - which has been in operation since 1992 - has over 35 years construction experience in NZ and overseas. He has served as the President of the Eastern Branch of the Master Builders Association as well as the Board of the Auckland Master Builders Assocation. Kevin was a Building & Construction Industry Training Organisation (BCITO) Assessor and has been involved in the Manukau Institute of Technology Building Advisory Committee.
Kevin maintains a hands-on management approach, working on the tools each day alongside our own team of carpenters. Kevin's onsite presence enables him to lead by example and co-ordinate all tradespersons to result in the most efficient outcomes possible. His ability to articulate technical concepts or problems to his clients arising throughout the build process creates a sense of security, and an assurance that their project is in safe hands.
I AM A LICENSED BUILDING PRACTITIONER. It is an offense for an unlicensed person to carry out or supervise building work. It is also an offence to knowingly engage an unlicensed person to carry out or supervise restricted building work (unless they have obtained an owner builder exemption). I am a Licensed Building Practitioner. All tradesmen we employ are Licensed Building Practitioners. The Licensed Building Practitioner logo confirms for consumers that Leader Homes has been assessed as technically competent in our licensed field.
